Caution: Other programs are dependent on the SCM such as the MSI Dragon Gaming Center, Silent Option, and possibly Afterburner. The SCM installer is listed in the "Utility" section of the MSI downloads for your notebook. If the Fn key no longer works, that's a clear indication that the SCM is not working.
